Meet Prehistoric Marine Life in the Upcoming Jurassic World Evolution 2 DLC

Today, Frontier Developments has announced a brand new DLC coming to Jurassic World Evolution 2 and it looks like we will be getting a little wet with this one.

The Prehistoric Marine Species pack will be bringing 4 different species to the game, ranging from gentle giants to armoured predators: The Archelon, Nothosaurus, Dunkleosteus, and Shonisaurus. The pack will also include an additional enclosure you can use too, a brand new Lagoon Platform. This is designed for the Archelon and Nothosaurus to give guests a great view of the new species and their behaviors. The DLC will be releasing on August 10th for $8.

The new DLC will come with a free update available for everyone, which will include new features, quality of life improvements, and bug fixes, but details on those will be released tomorrow.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is the follow-up to the management simulator that put you in the shoes of a park manager who is tasked to build the best dinosaur park as well. With a brand new narrative campaign and new features, you will create your own Jurassic World, constructing buildings and enclosures, hiring scientists, and become a profitable business that caters to the needs of both your guests and dinosaurs.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is available now on Steam for $60 and is rated Verified for the Steam Deck. The game can perform quite well on the Steam Deck and with the full controller support and cloud saves, this is a great game to play on-the-go!
