In the last Steam Next Fest, one of my favorite titles captivated me, was a smaller one called Planetiles. It has a simple concept: placing tiles and matching them with similar ones. It reeked of Tetris but with a twist of creating islands that could be upgraded when made in 3x3 squares, missions where you had to try prioritizing one type over another, and abilities to make it all easier. It ran like a charm on the Steam Deck, and with the new update, it will be a bit easier to play on a smaller screen.

In a small hotfix posted yesterday, which only had 5 different notes, listed minor Steam Deck UI optimizations and improved button locations on a 16:10 aspect ratio. While the former is much more direct, the 16:10 aspect ratio is the one the native screen on the Deck uses, which leads me to believe this may be geared towards it as well. Regardless, I am happy to see any improvements to make portable play that much better.
Other than these, we have some Leaderboard UI optimizations, the removal of the "Wishlist on Steam" button from the main menu and fixing the location of settings and leaderboards on ultra widescreen displays. It is a smaller patch, but still a wonderful one to keep the game as playable as possible!
You can view the hotfix announcement over on their Steam Community Post.

Planetiles is currently on sale to celebrate its release at 15% off until April 17th. It is $8.49, has a native Linux build, and is rated Unknown for Steam Deck compatibility. The developer has commented that it is compatible with the Steam Deck, which I can confirm via the demo, and I would be shocked to see it not working.
