Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX (Buckshot Roulette) has just announced that they have formed a partnership with indie developer Wrong Organ to release their first-person, story-driven psychological horror game Mouthwashing. In case you missed it, Mouthwashing's first demo was released as part of Steam Next Fest earlier this year and you can grab it on Steam.

In Mouthwashing, you will find yourself stranded when Pony Express’s interplanetary freighter Tulpar goes off course. You are one of its five crew members who find themselves with a diminishing supply of resources.

As you and the rest of the crew face the threat of starvation and endure crippling isolation, you must fight back paranoia and hallucinations, soon you'll come to realize the question is not whether you will survive or not, but rather when will you perish? And who will be responsible?

Will you survive to learn the truth about your captain, your fellow crewmates, and the cargo that your freighter was carrying?

Mouthwashing is coming soon to Steam, a demo is available to play right now. You can follow Wrong Organ's X (Twitter) page to keep up to date with any news regarding the game. The game has full controller support, but no system requirements are mentioned as of yet, so it's hard to say how the game might run on the Steam Deck, we're hopeful that it will be playable though, given the game's graphical style.
