Cozy Management Game 'Minami Lane' Gets Gamepad Support in Patch 1.1

This is a game that slipped me by, but it looks absolutely gorgeous. Minami Lane, developed by Doot and Blibloop, challenges you to build, design, decorate, and manage your own street, ensuring the happiness of your residents and making everything look beautiful while you do it. The game holds a very respectable 98% positive reviews on Steam.

That's not why I'm writing this article though, as the latest patch to Minami Lane has added controller support to the game. The developers state that the Steam Deck itself is fully supported, including the correct controller icons, and they hope to receive a "Verified" Steam Deck badge soon.

Minami Lane airs on the shorter side, with the estimated playing time being between 2-4 hours, but the fact that the game is available for $5 means it's priced very reasonably for the playing time.

The update for Minami Lane also brought about various visual improvements, plenty of bug fixes, and QoL changes. Perhaps most importantly for Steam Deck users, they managed to lower the size of the game from 2GB to just 235MB, meaning Minami Lane won't take up any of that precious storage space you have!

Minami Lane is available on Steam for $4.99, it's just received controller support, and we hope that means that the Steam Deck "Playable" rating it currently holds, will be changed to "Verified" before too long!
