City Builder 'Manor Lords' Passes 2 Million Sold in Less Than 3 Weeks!

This might not come as much of a surprise to those of you who have kept abreast with Manor Lords as it was nearing release, with it being the #1 most wishlisted game on Steam, but the city-builder from publisher Hooded Horse and developer Slavic Magic has just passed 2 million copies sold, less than 3 weeks after it released! This is particularly impressive seeing as the game is also available on Game Pass for PC.

Manor Lords actually hit 1,000,000 sales just 24 hours after release, with the 2,000,000 sales milestone reached on May 16th.

In further good news for Manor Lords, the first patch for the game since release has also entered open testing, so hopefully we'll have the update in our hands before too long. If you want a sneak peek of the changelog for the patch, you can find it here.

I got the chance to review Manor Lords before release, and I'm pleased to say that the game itself is a fantastic city-builder, and it's perfectly playable on the Steam Deck, so if the game has caught your attention, you don't have to worry about any compatibility issues with playing it on the Deck.

Manor Lords is available to buy in Steam Early Access for $39.99. It is rated as Playable on the Steam Deck according to Valve's testing, due to small in-game text, sometimes requiring a custom controller layout, and not showing proper controller icons.
