This is a bit of a strange announcement, especially if you've followed the development of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, but Hooded Horse has just announced that they have taken over publishing rights for the game.

Previously, Mimimi Games developed and self-published the title, however, around the time of release, Mimimi Games confirmed that they were shutting down and would develop no further games or updates, which Hooded Horse have doubled-down on confirming. We imagine this move has more to do with Mimimi Games tying up loose ends for their IP rather than a push to help Shadow Gambit, but it's good to see the game get continued marketing and publishing support.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is available now on Steam for $26.79 during the Winter Sale, 33% off the usual price of $39.99. The game was well received by players and runs well on the Steam Deck, earning itself a Verified rating by Valve.
