Galactic Civilizations IV has a big expansion out today in the Megastructures DLC!

This new expansion by Stardock is a meaty one, and it adds some pretty cool features that should greatly improve the late game. Players can expect things such as powering their expanded empires with Dyson Spheres harnessing energy from stars, building the gigantic Stellar Nexus megastructure to empower their empire, and a whole host of new events and missions.

Players can also revolutionize their logistics with Stellar Gateways, and build gigantic ring planets to house their populations. Alongside the Megastructures expansion, a chunky free update is also available for the base game, offering improved map generation, new lighting effects, and a whole host of balance fixes.
