Warner Bros. Games has officially revealed that Ermac will be the next DLC fighter made available for Mortal Kombat 1. Kombat Pack owners will gain access to Ermac from April 16th, with wider availability coming on April 23rd.

Ermac is a collection of souls bound together by Quan Chi’s dark magic that are intended to function as a group mind. However, the spell has been undone, and, no longer Quan Chi's slave, he must find a future worth fighting for. Ermac possesses a devastating moveset, including the ability to teleport, levitate, and utilize a legion of souls to grab, lift, and slam opponents to the ground.

The trailer also provides a first look at Mavado, a new DLC Kameo Fighter also coming to Mortal Kombat 1, who can assist during matches with a range of support moves. Mavado will be available as part of the Kombat Pack and standalone purchase in May 2024.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on Steam for $69.99. It has full controller support and is Verified on the Steam Deck according to Valve's testing. Ermac will be available to purchase separately, most likely for $7.99 on April 23rd, or can be accessed by Kombat Pack owners on April 16th at no additional cost. The Kombat pack is included in the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition ($109.99) or sold separately for $39.99.
