Deceive Inc. Gets Free "World's Finest" Update, Introduces New Spy, Cosmetics, And More!

Deceive Inc. may have had a bit of a rocky time of it with low player counts affecting this online-only stealth FPS, but developer Sweet Bandits Studios and publisher Tripwire Presents aren't giving up on it. The latest free update for the game, entitled Deceive Inc. World’s Finest, is available now on Steam. The game is also free on PS+ Premium, so with the cross-play option, it's possible finding matches is easier now.

The world of superheroes has been rocked by an unexpected return and an uncertain future. World's Finest introduces veteran spy Vigil, a cunning professional who literally wrote the book when it comes to these operations. You're also getting superhero-themed cosmetics to unlock in the Seasonal Catalog 4 as well as a range of gameplay improvements, map updates, and bug fixes.

Among the changes the update brings is increased object density on Diamond Spire, NPC behavior is now more predictable and consistent, and some fixes have been brought in for controlling menus with gamepads.

Deceive Inc. is available on Steam for $19.99. It has full controller support and is Steam Deck Verified, so it should run well on your Steam Deck.
