Daimon Blades is off to a great start right now, and I loved it in my review. From the developer behind E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy, this is a gruesome, melee-focused roguelike where we dive into the depths of a cavern to fight tons of enemies, get new gear, and get currency to become more powerful. It's addictive, fantastic to play co-op, and just got a little better on the Steam Deck.

One of the parts of this update that seems geared to the Steam Deck is 16:10 aspect ratio compatibility. The Deck uses a 16:10 aspect ratio for its native display resolution, and I don't know many other devices or monitors that support it directly. So, I would say this is most likely a patch that helps specifically with playing on the Deck. It still needs some optimization for some spots of performance, but this is a nice step forward for compatibility.
The new patch also includes a bunch of fixes and community suggestions. There were a multitude of crashes that were fixed, balancing for bosses, and a bunch of bugs were fixed, like empty chest spawns, locked DLC, missing localization, and more. There were also some quality of life improvements, like removing the zoom on non-charged ranged attacks, reworking the Music Director algorithm, and a new Discord community link button.

Daimon Blades is on sale for $31.49 until October 20th.
