I saw a ton of different games when I was at PAX East earlier this year, and one of the ones I remember fondly is Corpse Keeper. It is an interesting combination of 2D strategic fighting and roguelike that has you killing people, taking their body parts, and using necromancy to customize and bring them back as fighters. Earlier today, the game officially released out of early access into 1.0, and with it, the game is now fully playable on the Steam Deck.

With the 1.0 release today, we have a solid amount of improvements and changes across the board to usher us out of early access. In the changelog, one of the first mentions is that the game is playable on the Steam Deck. While the game has had the Playable badge for the past three months, it seems as though there were still some issues that needed to be ironed out, and this update fixes them!
We also have a bunch of changes and updates to improve the game. We have a new way to use excess blood when it reaches a threshold, new exclusive weapons that can be used by specific characters, three new difficulty levels, new facilities to create useful items, new enemies, the drop rate for blood has been increased, stack limits have also been raised, the tutorial has been optimized, the display of item quantities has been improved, and more!

Corpse Keeper is on sale for $11.99 until June 11th to celebrate its full launch. It is currently rated Steam Deck Playable due to sometimes showing incorrect controller icons and needing to configure display resolution manually, but these may no longer be an issue.
