If you are looking for an RPG that revolves around cooking and maintaining a restaurant, Chef RPG should be on your radar. It gives off similar vibes to Stardew Valley but focuses on gathering and hunting for ingredients, managing your restaurant, and cooking to grow your culinary business. It's an interesting premise, and it's about to get much better to play on the Steam Deck.

With the Steam Cooking Festival in full swing, developer World 2 Studio announced their next update's November 21st release date, which brings controller support to the game. They specifically mention the Steam Deck and a few other key improvements, like new UI designs and an overhaul. The team wanted to get this out in time for the sale, but they added more than they planned and needed some extra time for polishing and testing.
While the UI changes could mean something like changing in-game icons to gamepad ones, I believe there may be a little more for Steam Deck players. UI overhaul could mean making everything more readable and functional and being able to bring up the virtual keyboard automatically, both of which are issues that stopped the game from getting the Verified badge. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what the team is targeting with this update, and I wish them luck!
You can check out the announcement they made via their Steam Community Post.

Chef RPG is on sale for $17.99 at 10% off until November 18th. It is currently rated Playable for needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, small in-game text, and not supporting the native display resolution. However, most of these should be cleared up soon with this update.
