Epic is giving away a free game every single day for the holidays, and today, there's a great game ready to redeem for those who are fans of open-world RPGs. For today, Epic is giving away Cassette Beasts as the tenth free game for the holidays, and it's a great title to pick up.

In a way, the game is similar to the Pokémon series. You will collect and combine monsters to make them more powerful, while partaking in stylized turn-based battles with some deep mechanics. On top of that, the game can be played with friends as well, which is a nice treat.

And of course, Cassette Beasts is a joy on the Steam Deck. It is rated Verified, and it works perfectly right out of the box. It shouldn't be an issue to play this on the go, and it can be tweaked a bit to actually save on battery with a 10W TDP limit.
