Atari has revealed the launch date for Breakout Beyond, a brand new take on the original arcade classic!

Breakout is really a blast from the past, and it will launch March 25. This time, players must not only break every brick in its many levels, but must work out how to breach the sprawling brick walls with growing point combos. I have not played the original Breakout since I was a kid, so hearing about this sequel has me hankering for a trip back to the past.

In Breakout Beyond, players can enjoy the new sideways perspective, 72 hand crafted levels, an unlockable endless mode, and even multiplayer to play through the levels with another friend.
