APICO's New Updates Bring Modding and Fixes To Steam Deck

Today, the final free content update for APICO was released, giving us a nice send-off for an enjoyable and laid-back experience. I am a huge fan of the game, and it is one of my favorite relaxing games about beekeeping games on Steam Deck. With the newest updates for the game, we now have more options on Deck, including the modding menu to help us enhance the experience further!

Over the last two days, APICO has had two updates with new content and bug fixes. However, when it comes to the Steam Deck specifically, there are two main changes. First, in the massive 4.0.0 update, the modding menu is now available on the Steam Deck! This means you can more easily mod the game, giving you more reasons to return to the game and dive into new content. Then, in the 4.1.0 update, which is primarily just bug fixes, quest reward items will show up again.

Like I said before, though, we have a lot of new content with the update. The big new addition is a new process for honeycore crystals to refine them into brand new crystals, which can be used to create new automation machines! We also have new pets, decorations, tools, bees, seasonal events, music, and the ability to host a multiplayer server yourself. There's so much new content to check out, and with the love the developer has put in, there's no better time to check it out! The bug fix update also includes some nice fixes and general changes, like the ploppers getting buffed to 10bl instead of 5!

APICO is currently on Steam for $19.99, but for a limited time, there's a bundle for APICO and all of its soundtracks for $16. So, we can save money and get some new music to listen to!
