Airport X-Ray Simulator Gets Steam Deck Support

Have you ever wanted to work as a TSA agent at an airport and inspect bags that come through? Well, now you can live out that fantasy! Airport X-Ray Simulator will have you inspecting bags through an x-ray machine to identify potential threats, illegal items, and more. You will have to utilize manual searches, flagging, and identifying passengers to make sure the planes will take off without a hitch. And with the new update, it will be much more playable on the Steam Deck.

With the new update, we now officially have gamepad support, which should make it significantly easier to play on the Deck. This is the first pass for gamepad support, but it should make the game easier to maneuver now. The settings menu was also redesigned and features a keybinding section, and the walkthrough tutorial has been removed for an improved video tutorial.

The game is rated Steam Deck Playable and has some issues with it, including the controller configuration and icons, so this update should fix that issue at least. It still needs to bring up the virtual keyboard automatically, increase some text size, and automatically configure the resolution to get the green checkmark, but it's a step in the right direction.
