A new update for Wizard With a Gun entitled "Better Together" is living up to its name by allowing 4 friends to fight the forces of evil together when it drops on May 13th!

As you might expect, the game is receiving some balancing changes, with the game becoming more difficult depending on the amount of players that you have. Not only that but there are also actual difficulty levels being added to the game!

Excited? Well, you can check out the trailer that just dropped, well it's more of an explanation as to why Wizard With a Gun didn't launch with 4 player co-op in the first place, but it's interesting nonetheless!

As I said earlier, Wizard With a Gun is also getting difficulty choices added to the game. These are from easiest to hardest: Ranger, Gunslinger, Sheriff, and Outlaw. The Better Together update doesn't stop there, however, not only does it introduce 4 player co-op and difficulty levels, but it also adds the ability for you to create your own custom difficulty level!

The Better Together update will also let you tweak a number of variables to create your ideal difficulty level. You will be able to make enemies stronger and faster, or slower and weaker. You can make the penalties for death less or more severe. So you can make the game easier than before, or harder than before, the choice is yours!

Wizard With a Gun is available on Steam for $24.99, with the Better Together update launching on May 13th, 2024. The game has full controller support and is rated as Playable on Steam Deck according to Valve's testing, due to some text being difficult to read and the on-screen keyboard may have to be invoked at times.
