Focus Entertainment and Hutlihut Games have announced that Void Crew, their chaotic co-op space-action roguelite, will officially leave early access and launch its 1.0 version on Steam on November 25th, 2024. The game is now prepared for full release following more than a year of content updates and enhancements motivated by player feedback.

What to Expect from Void Crew

In Void Crew, players assume control of Ectypes, clone warriors selected by METEM to go on a dangerous Pilgrimage. Taking on the roles of Pilot, Gunner, Engineer, or Scavenger, you and your crew of up to four will tackle objectives and survive epic space battles against the Hollow, an alien threat, as well as human scavengers. Your task? In the face of overwhelming chaos, bring the galaxy back to order.

Void Crew is all about customization. As you battle tenacious foes and enormous bosses, you will upgrade and alter your spacecraft in the middle of the mission. No two runs are ever the same because of the dynamic, constantly shifting environments—unpredictable battles, solar flares, and asteroid storms. It all comes down to cooperation, fast thinking, and occasionally a little improvisation.

Final Days of Early Access

Void Crew is still available to players at a 25% discount during its early access period. This is the final opportunity to benefit from this deal before the game's price goes up with the November 1.0 release. It will be interesting to see how the game develops further. User reviews suggest that the later stages of the game could benefit from even more depth with the addition of features like a fighter launcher bay and even harder bosses perhaps.

Void Crew has certainly piqued my interest, and I can’t wait to see where the full release takes it. Why not check out their Steam Page for more information.
