It's been one year since Torchlight: Infinite launched on May 10th, 2023. It's now time for the game's 4th season, this time bringing with it a Cthulhu-esque horror twist!

XD Games is walking a fine line, by blending the action of an ARPG game, along with crafting, exploration, and horror.

You can have a preview of what awaits you Torchlight: Infinite's Whispering Mist season by watching the trailer below:

In Torchlight: Infinite - Whispering Mist you'll take on the role of a detective, solving mysteries and striving to maintain your sanity as you explore the haunted city of Mistville.

You'll also have the chance to witness a new side of Cateye Erika as she harnesses the power of Ember tech to transform into Lightning Shadow. The new season also adds new content, from a new multiplayer mode to exclusive treasures, there’s plenty to explore in the Whispering Mists, just be sure not to lose yourself along the way.

Compete in Divine Might Trials, a new piece of end-game content, and for newer players, the early stages of the game have been reworked to make early progression more enjoyable. There's also been some balancing adjustments and optimizations to the general gameplay.

You can now also team up with a friend and go on the hunt together!

That's not all though! During the time of the game's 1st anniversary, players can redeem free rewards, including an SSR battle accessory and a back accessory.

Torchlight: Infinite is available now on Steam as a free-to-play title. It is rated as Playable on the Steam Deck, due to small in-game text, requiring a controller layout, showing incorrect controller icons, sometimes requiring the invoking of the onscreen keyboard, and the game's resolution may need adjusting when first playing.
