This week, we saw Valve getting busy with more Steam Deck Verified and Playable badges, with them finally hitting over 14,000 games that have received this honor. Now, there have been a lot of awesome games that got these badges, like Flotsam and Trinity Fusion, and it's such a great thing to see!

Here are the 8 highlights we found this week:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the Verified system and how it can be fixed.

Steam Deck Verified/Playable Highlights 3/4/24 - 3/10/24

Pacific Drive (Playable)

PacificDriveStock2 1

Face the supernatural dangers of the Olympic Exclusion Zone with a car as your only lifeline in this driving survival adventure! Scavenge resources, load up your trusty station wagon, and drive like hell to make it through alive.

The game is $29.99 on Steam, but you can get the game on Fanatical for $24.89. It is rated Playable due to small text, needing to manually change settings for optimal performance, and possibly needing a community controller configuration.

I don't agree with the Playable rating, as there are drops that go below 30 on multiple occasions, but you can technically play it.

Flotsam (Verified)

Gain strategic advantages by controlling resources in the seas and mounting three-pronged attacks from all directions in this Real-Time Strategy game.
