This week, we saw Valve getting busy with more Steam Deck Verified and Playable badges, with them finally hitting over 14,000 games that have received this honor. Now, there have been a lot of awesome games that got these badges, like Flotsam and Trinity Fusion, and it's such a great thing to see!

Here are the 8 highlights we found this week:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the Verified system and how it can be fixed.

Steam Deck Verified/Playable Highlights 3/4/24 - 3/10/24

Pacific Drive (Playable)

PacificDriveStock2 1

Face the supernatural dangers of the Olympic Exclusion Zone with a car as your only lifeline in this driving survival adventure! Scavenge resources, load up your trusty station wagon, and drive like hell to make it through alive.

The game is $29.99 on Steam, but you can get the game on Fanatical for $24.89. It is rated Playable due to small text, needing to manually change settings for optimal performance, and possibly needing a community controller configuration.

I don't agree with the Playable rating, as there are drops that go below 30 on multiple occasions, but you can technically play it.

Flotsam (Verified)

The floating garbage town survival game! Scavenge what precious garbage you can from the ocean's surface and grow your city while doing your best to survive in this colorful post-apocalyptic world.

The game is on sale for $18.74 and is rated Verified.

The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered (Verified)

The classic fantasy of Legend of Legacy is remastered in HD and debuting on Steam! Explore a world map bursting with story-book charm, and join forces with the spirits of Avalon to harness the elemental attributes of the battlefield and overcome mighty enemies.

The game will be released on March 22nd and is rated Verified.

Trinity Fusion (Verified)

Take control of your parallel selves and explore dark, Sci-Fi worlds. Slash, bash and shoot your way through this unique rogue-lite metroidvania where the only way to save the multiverse is to end it.

The game is $19.99 and is rated Verified.

FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage Collector's Edition (Verified)

Ready for the aggressive, adrenaline-filled ride that leaves you breathless? FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage Collector's Edition is all about destructive action. With carnage modes like the Deathmatch derby, Carnage Race and Head-on races are pure wreck-filled, adrenaline-pumping rides of maximum mayhem.

The game is $19.99 and is rated Verified.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (Playable)

The desperate leadership of a doomed Soviet Union travels back in time to change history and restore the glory of Mother Russia. Experience Gameplay as for the first time in the series, waging war on the water will be every bit as important as dominating by land and air. Gain strategic advantages by controlling resources in the seas and mounting three-pronged attacks from all directions in this Real-Time Strategy game.

The game is part of the Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection and is rated Playable due to needing to manually bring up keyboard to enter text and sometimes showing incorrect controller icons.

REVEIL (Verified)

REVEIL is a narrative first-person psycho-thriller game that focuses on story, puzzles and exploration. Find out what’s going on inside Walter Thompson and what his dark past at the Nelson Bros Circus has to do with it.

The game is on sale until March 20th for $17.99 and is rated Verified.

Pepper Grinder (Verified)

Pepper Grinder is an action-packed 2D adventure blending traditional platforming with an alternate drilling mode that allows you to dive in and out of the earth like a dolphin swims through water.

The game will be released on March 28th and is rated Verified.

And that is it for this week! You can check out the previous week's list, which features games like Last Epoch, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, and Slave Zero X.
