I used to love playing Guitar Hero back in the day, it was one of my favorite PS2 games (other than Kingdom Hearts), and I am getting some serious Guitar Hero vibes from Spin Rhythm XD. It has the vibrant visuals I love, and a unique taste in the rhythm genre, where you have to control a turntable and flick and spin to match the colors coming down the track. And the newest update for the game is a really significant one for those playing on the Steam Deck.

The game's 1.5.0 update brings in some much-needed enhancements for the Steam Deck. Developer Super Spin Digital has made a Linux build of the game, so customs should be easier to manage, and the Deck now supports Multi Touch, which makes playing on the Deck with the touch screen so much more enjoyable. Visual touch panels also appear over gameplay and can be customized, and you can scale the UI fully, which should make it easier to play on smaller screens as well.
Outside of those, we have four new tracks to play, new RemiXD charts, an editor refactor to support longer custom tracks and improve note contrast in the timeline, and stat tracking for "overbeats." The MIDI DJ gear that is supported with the game is now compatible with the Steam Deck and Linux, which makes this even more awesome to play on the go!
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Spin Rhythm XD is available on Steam for $19.99 and is rated Verified.
