Selaco is the new boomer shooter on the block. Running on the GZDOOM engine, an open-source port of the DOOM engine, Selaco brings Boomer Shooters to the modern age, with advanced rendering technology and high-quality visuals. It also natively supports Linux!
If you're up for some good old-fashioned fast-paced FPS action, then Selaco might be right up your street when it lands on Steam in early access on May 31st!
You can check out the game's announcement trailer down below:
We're a little late to the party with Selaco, as it was announced a few months ago, but we're bringing it to your attention now because the developers have just announced that the game will have Steam Workshop support when it launches into Early Access on May 31st.
We're quite used to games supporting the Steam Workshop now, but Selaco's support is extensive, with the promise of being able to add new maps, weapons, enemies, gameplay improvements, and more just through the Steam Workshop and in-game mod menu.
Selaco currently has a demo available on Steam and will launch fully into Early Access from May 31st. It has native Linux support, with the developers actively supporting the Linux build with Steam Deck in mind.
