A new Proton Experimental update was pushed out today! This one makes The Lord of the Rings: Gollum now playable, fixes Halo Master Chief Collection's menus, Ubisoft Connect's intermittent invisible window, flipped videos for Secret of Mana, and more! It also fixed some Proton 8 regressions that makes DJMAX RESPECT V playable again!
Proton Experimental Update 6/5/23 Changelog:
- Now playable: The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
- Fixed flipped videos in Secret of Mana and other titles.
- Fixed Call of Duty 2 hanging when loading maps.
- Fixed Creativerse hanging while exiting from a local game.
- Fixed Ubisoft Connect intermittently having an invisible window.
- Fixed a few Proton 8.0 regressions:
- DJMAX RESPECT V is playable again.
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection menus no longer are broken.
