The 4X turn-based historical strategy game Old World is getting a new DLC today with Phraroahs of the Nile. This pack explores the ancient Egyptian civilization and challenges you to lead them for over 400 years, from the founding of the kingdom to the start of the Bronze Age!

The DLC offers 6 scenarios spanning the aforementioned 400-year period, including famous battles and challenges faced by the ancient Egyptian nation. There's also a promise of new gameplay mechanics introduced across these scenarios.

In addition, the Kingdom of Kush is now a playable civilization, complete with two powerful, unique ranged units and a unique building, the Kushite Pyramids.

The DLC pack Pharaohs of the Nile can now be purchased on Steam for $8.99 with a 10% launch discount, going up to $9.99 after October 11. The base game is available for $39.99, and you can get the complete pack, which includes the new DLC, for $57.56.

Looking at the requirements, Old World should be able to run on the Steam Deck! And to top it off, it also has a native Linux build, which is always a pleasure to see.
