Last Train Home, a game that I found to be very enjoyable on the Steam Deck, has just received an accolades trailer, piling more praise on the game. It also shows off some of the action you can experience as you play, so check it out:

As of writing this article, Last Train Home holds review scores of 81 and 83 on Metacritic and Opencritic respectively. Steam User reviews are also at 86% with a "Very Positive "rating too!

The game definitely deserves the praise it's getting. As the trailer says, the storyline/history that the game brings to blend with the tactical and strategic battles pushes the game past the "another RTS" goalpost and into something that really stands out for me.

If you aren't familiar with the game, it tells the story of Czechoslovakian troops as they make their way home through Russia back to Europe after the end of World War 1. However, they soon become stuck in a Russia embroiled in civil war, and must use their train to get as many of their men home as possible.

Last Train Home is available on Steam for the modest price of $39.99. In our review, we noted how well it played on the Steam Deck, and is an option for you strategy lovers out there who are looking for a game of this genre that plays well on a handheld.
