All the PC Announcements from the Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2025

The Future Games Show is back for their 2025 Spring Showcase, featuring over 50 games, there was plenty for us to get our teeth into and get excited about. The show ran for over 90 minutes in total, so we'll try to boil down all the announcements into a helpful list that you can read through at your leisure.

So with that said, let's take a look at all the PC Gaming announcements from the Future Games Show 2025 Spring Showcase

Lost Rift, a Supernatural PvPvE Survival Game - Coming 2025

Lost Rift kicked the show off as a supernatural PvPvE survival game where players are stranded on a desert island. It looked like a strange mix between ARK: Survival Evolved and Sea of Thieves to me!

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Gets a Character Trailer for Maelle - Coming April 24th, 2025

A character trailer for the upcoming turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 introduced Maelle, a rapier-wielding survivor played by Jennifer English.

Survival Puzzle Horror game Animal Use Protocol - Coming Soon

The team behind the STASIS series is back with Animal Use Protocol, following the story of a hyper-intelligent chimp and its rat companion.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remaster Gets a Developer Diary - Coming May 23rd, 2025

Plenty of people are getting excited about the return of the Onimusha series, and the remaster of Onimusha 2 is just around the corner, releasing on May 23rd, 2025. This developer diary looks at the game's new "Hell" difficulty mode.

Nitro Gen Omega is Bringing Turn-Based Mech Battles to a PC Near You - Coming 2025

Nitro Gen Omega is a tactical RPG where you build a mech, fill it with mercenaries, and engage in turn-based battles. You might not think it's gameplay footage when you watch the trailer, but this definitely manages to give that "anime" feeling straight in the gameplay.

The Remake of the End of the Greatest RPG of All Time is Getting a Demo on April 25th, 2025

The Remake of the End of the Greatest RPG of All Time is quite a title for a game. It is apparently a metafictional deduction puzzle game, presumably, we're trying to find out what the Greatest RPG of All Time is, while we are playing a remake of it... Maybe...?

Open World Survival Horror 'I Hate This Place' Revealed - Coming 2025

Another Bloober Team reveal and another horror game to scare the wits out of you. I Hate This Place is based on Kyle Starks' comic with the same name, and it gives me some retro CAPCOM vibes with how characters move and shoot.

Once Upon a Puppet is a Puzzle Platformer That's just a Month Away - April 23rd, 2025

If you aren't slightly freaked out by puppets like me, then you should be keeping an eye on Once Upon a Puppet. The puzzling platformer will be released on April 23rd, 2025, and it looks to have a pretty interesting design to it.

Revenge of the Savage Planet Got a Rather... Strange Trailer - Coming May 8th, 2025

I'm not sure that I know, or want to know exactly what is going on here. But hopefully, the game will be received better than this trailer was when it launches on May 8th.

Inayah: Life After Gods Launches Soon, Here's the Launch Trailer - March 27th, 2025

ExoGenesis Studios shared the launch trailer for Inayah: Life After Gods, a mysterious Metroidvania in which you chart the ruins of a high-tech civilization.

Deathground, a Dinosaur Survival Game Gets a Gameplay Trailer - Coming 2025

Deathground received a brand-new gameplay trailer during the Spring Showcase, it looks to be a pretty terrifying experience if I do say so myself.

Kingmakers Gets a Gameplay Overview Trailer - Coming 2025

Kingmakers, the game that looks equal parts bonkers and ambitious got a new gameplay overview trailer. Some of the footage we've already seen before, but there were snippets of new gameplay shown, particularly the strategy element of the game.

Elsewhere Electric Revealed, an Asymmetrical Puzzle Game - Coming Summer 2025

Games by Stitch revealed Elsewhere Electric during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase. It's an asymmetrical puzzle game where you explore an abandoned facility, with one player on a mobile phone and another in virtual reality. Obviously, this one might not be best suited to Steam Deck with its reliance on VR.

System Shock 2 Remaster Gets a Release Date - Coming June 26th, 2025

Those of you looking to dive back into the world of System Shock won't have too long to wait, as the remaster of System Shock 2 will launch in just 3 months, on June 26th, 2025.

Mandragora is Less Than a Month Away, Here's the Launch Trailer - Coming April 17th, 2025

Side-scrolling fantasy RPG Mandragora got its launch trailer during the show, with the game releasing in less than a month, on April 17th. It looks to have a suitably deep skill system to go with it too.

Billie Bust Up Gets a Story Trailer - Coming Soon

Billie Bust Up, a game we saw not too long ago at the Humble Games Showcase, also made an appearance during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase with its Story Trailer.

Shelf Heroes Brings Your Toys to Life in a New Roguelite Shooter - April 15th, 2025

In a very short and sweet trailer, we got to see some gameplay of Shelf Heroes, a new roguelike shooter that's being revealed and released all in the space of a month, let's hope that's enough time to build hype!

Tactical Military Shooter Chains of Freedom Release Date - April 15th, 2025

Upcoming dark tactical military shooter Chains of Freedom got a gameplay trailer alongside a release date of April 15th, 2025.

Bionic Bay Challenges You to Think Fast, New Demo Out Now - Coming Soon

I've had my eye on this game for a while, and it's still looking good every time I see it. Challenge your skills in this puzzle platformer with competitive multiplayer as you strive to get the fastest time.

NEIGHBORS: Suburban Warfare, a New Comical Team Shooter on the Block - April 17th, 2025

Fancy a team-based shooter set in a sleepy suburb? NEIGHBORS: Suburban Warfare has players reaffirming their property boundaries with backyard brawls and pigeon poop bombs. It's coming to Steam Early Access on April 17.

Hawthorn Answers the Question 'What if Woodland Animals Were Sentient?' - Kickstarter Soon

This looks like such an intriguing game, and I hope it ends up being as wonderfully whimsical as it looks. The game will be starting a Kickstarter campaign soon.

Sci-Fi Adventure INDUSTRIA 2 Gets Gameplay Trailer - Coming Soon

Inspired by the Half-Life series, this dark and gritty first-person adventure/shooter looks like it has plenty of intrigue up its sleeve.

Protect the Roman Empire from Zombies in Romestead - Coming Soon

What was the biggest threat facing the Roman Empire? If you say anything but zombies, I'm afraid that you're incorrect. In Romestead, you're tasked with rebuilding the empire while holding off the horde in this open-world survival game.

South of Midnight Gets a Gameplay Overview Trailer - April 8th, 2025

Compulsion Games' latest action-adventure title is less than a month away, as South of Midnight is due to launch on April 8th, you can check out a good chunk of gameplay above.

Pioner Challenges you to Survive in this Stalker-Like MMO FPS - Coming 2025

Face anomalies and all sorts of other creatures as you fight to survive in this new MMO FPS that looks to be inspired by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise.

Explore an Alternative Fantasy Twist to Brazilian History in Hell Clock - Coming Soon

Hell Clock is a dark fantasy roguelike Action RPG that looks to be filled with action. It's coming soon to PC, but it's good to get a look at so much gameplay.

Rivals Hover League Shares More Vehicular Combat in Gameplay Trailer - Coming Soon

It feels like vehicular combat games have fallen off a little lately, so it's good to see some games try and bring it back, Rivals Hover League is a fast-paced PvP arena shooter featuring hovercars.

The new War Sails expansion for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is just 3 months away. The expansion brings with it naval combat and the addition of a Viking-inspired faction.

WILL: Follow The Light Gets a New Gameplay Trailer - Coming 2025

The gameplay reveal trailer gives us a first look at environments and characters from Will’s ruined hometown where a community tries desperately to recover, we also get a glimpse at the game’s simulated yacht controls and open seas, as well as the first puzzle gameplay and navigation of the world.

FBC: Firebreak is joining the crazy universe of Control and Alan Wake. This 4 player co-op shooter tasks you with repelling monsters and busting anomalies.

Cronos: The New Dawn is a Time-Traveling Survival Horror - Coming 2025

An alternate-history thriller from Bloober Team, Cronos: The New Dawn is a time-traveling survival horror game where you extract essence from the victims of a mysterious apocalypse. A developer diary for the game provides an overview of the game's narrative.

2004's Painkiller is Back in a Brand New Reboot - Coming Fall 2025

This wasn't a game I was aware of back in the day, but if you were and enjoyed it, I'm sure this announcement was something to get excited about, as it feels like it came out of the blue. Either way, Saber Interactive is bringing back the IP.

REANIMAL Gets a Gameplay Overview Trailer - Coming Soon

REANIMAL is the next game from Little Nightmares I & II developer Tarsier Studios. You can definitely tell from the style of REANIMAL, a tale that follows the story of siblings escaping an island of haunted creatures.

Phew, that does it for the Future Games Show 2025 Spring Showcase, with over 50 games covered in 90 minutes, it was a pretty jam-packed showcase without much space to breathe, but we definitely got some gems in there to look forward to in the coming months.
