Farming enthusiasts rejoice! The long-awaited sequel to Farming Simulator 22 is near! While the series historically released new iteration bi-annually, there's recently been a shift to releasing a new version every 3 years, and Farming Simulator 25 has been confirmed to arrive this November 12th on Steam.

GIANTS have done their usual marketing and released an entirely cinematic reveal trailer for the game, which sadly doesn't show us any gameplay or much of what we can look forward to, besides the addition of an Asian map to the game. You can check out Farming Simulator 25's cinematic trailer below:

We did get to hear a little more about what new content and features that GIANTS are bringing into Farming Simulator 25, however.

In addition to the new East Asian landscape filled with rice paddies, a North American environment with plenty of open space will be present, as well as a Central European location with green fields between ponds and rivers.

Co-operative multiplayer has been confirmed to be present once again, with new types of rice, spinach, and other crops, with over 20 to choose from. Buffalos are also being added as a livestock animal, while new production chains are also added, likely to cover the new crops and livestock types.

As is expected from the series, Farming Simulator 25 will have over 400 branded vehicles, items, and tools, including new ones designed for the Asian style of farming.

Improved physics and graphics have also been promised, although we can't tell in what way just yet, as we only have limited glimpses of gameplay. But GIANTS promise improvements to shadows, fog, weather effects, and ground deformation.

In somewhat of a change to the norm, the PC version is the only one to get a physical collectors edition. This PC-exclusive box includes a USB ignition lock to start the engines of in-game tractors, a 16-bit Mega Drive-inspired version plus a soundtrack CD with 15 original tracks from Chris Hülsbeck for retro lovers, and more.

Farming Simulator 25 is available for pre-purchase now on Steam for $49.99. A Year 1 Edition is available for $79.99, and includes 3 DLC packs and 1 DLC expansion, which includes a new map.
