There's something so much fun about escape rooms and how extremely fun they are. I love looking around rooms and trying to piece the puzzles loitering around to find some way to escape whatever doom may come my way. Escape Academy is one of the few games to successfully emulate the experience, and it is Epic's 14th free game they are giving away this holiday season!

There are really only two games I personally play to give me this experience, and Escape Academy is one of them. Not only is it a ton of first-person fun, but it allows you to solve these enjoyable puzzles with a friend in co-op, which is great! On Steam, it is rated Steam Deck Verified, and per my own experience and ProtonDB reports, it works wonderfully on the Deck!

You can get Escape Academy for free to keep on Epic for the next 23 hours before the next game unlocks, and this one goes back to its sale price. You can redeem the game on the Epic Games Store. To play games from Epic on the Deck, you will need to either install the Heroic Games Launcher, which you can find on the Discover Store, or install the client directly, which you can do easily through a 3rd party script.
