Recently, I have been on a big simulator kick. My wife and I have found ourselves playing games like Supermarket Simulator and TCG Card Shop Simulator together, and I find myself enjoying it more and more. I'm always looking for some unique experiences too, and Chocolate Factory Simulator may be the next one I go for. It sounds awesome to make your own chocolate from scratch, including the individual molds, and do it all within a Steampunk world. It looks like an intriguing experience, and it's one I would very much like to take on the go, but it sounds like it isn't possible just yet.

I came across a negative review for the game claiming that the game doesn't work on the Steam Deck with poor visuals. It doesn't go into more detail, but it was enough for the developer to respond to them, and it sounds like support for the Deck is coming. Developer Animal Shelter Team mentions that this is something they are working on right now and will be available in the future:

Hi! We know that fine folks like you would like to play it on Steamdeck. But we deliberately did not marked the game as Steamdeck compatible yet, because it's something we are working on and will be available in the future

There isn't much more information yet about when this will come, but I am very excited. It looks like an interesting simulator to enjoy, and I like how customizable you can get with chocolate and your workshop. It looks like an awesome game to play with my wife and compete to see who can make the best chocolate.

Chocolate Factory Simulator is available now and on sale for $16.99 (15% off) until January 21st. If you are going to play on Steam Deck primarily, I do recommend waiting, but hopefully we won't have to wait much longer.
