Announcements from the Humble Games Showcase 2025:
The Humble Games Showcase 2025 Announcements:
Town of Zoz Announced, a Culinary Action-RPG - Coming 2025
Town of Zoz is a brand new Action-RPG that was announced, following Ito, a young village Shaman, who is also a chef. Learn about the town and its secrets as you give the residents a helping hand.
Wild Blue is a New Starfox-Inspired Shooter - Coming Soon
Wild Blue is a new on-rails shooter coming from a studio headed by one of the programmers of the original Star Fox back in 1993, and it seems likely that it's following in much the same vein as its spiritual predecessor, with a team of pilots going on an adventure together.
Another Look at Heist Game Monaco 2 - Coming April 2025
Monaco 2, the sequel to the indie-heist hit has received a narrowed launch window of April 2025. Strange that we aren't getting an exact date this close to release, but let's hope it lives up to its predecessor's pedigree with the switch over to a more 3D style.
Lost Skies Receives a Cinematic Trailer - Coming 2025
The upcoming co-op survival game Lost Skies got a cinematic trailer during the showcase, it seems like an intriguing and somewhat ambitious game, so I hope the team at Bossa can pull this one off.
3D Platforming Musical 'Billie Bust Up' Shows Off Gameplay - Coming Soon
Billie Bust Up, a 3D Platforming Musical got a bit of time during the showcase, not only to show off the new gameplay trailer for the game but also to give us a look at one of the songs and a behind-the-scenes video with the game's composer.
2D Brawler 'Breeze in the Clouds' Will be Released in 2025
Breeze in the Clouds looks like a pretty cutesy 2D brawler, and that's not something I have to type very often. Regardless, it's just been given a release window of 2025, which is still pretty vague, but it's good to see that it's probably not too far off.
Turn-Based RPG Threads of Time Gives Us Another Peek - Coming Soon
I know a fair few are excited about this one, and we got another look at the game today, although still no release window yet. The mix of art styles between animated and pixelated are pretty awesome to see, and both are beautiful in their own right.
The Pre-Show Announcements:
That's it for the main showing, but there was a preshow before the main showcase which highlighted a few games from friends of Humble Games that they wanted to promote, here are those announcements.
Wall World 2 Announced, a New Mining Rogue-Lite - Coming 2025
This one looks pretty neat, and I haven't even heard of Wall World before, so I'm intrigued to see how this one pans out, as it seems like my kind of game.
Turn Your Apartment into a Paradise with Urban Jungle - March 21st, 2025
Urban Jungle is all about beautifying your small spaces. Use the plants at your disposal to add some color and variety to your apartment, they do like to make a point that you can pet the cat as well, which is always a bonus.
Future Vibe Check Challenges you to Make a Musical Factory - Coming Soon
Future Vibe Check from Akupara Games is an interesting one. Not only are your factories producing goods, but they're also producing music. While I'm not so sure about the name of the game, it's all a bit too hip for me, I am intrigued by the premise of it.
Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus Tanuki Kabuki DLC - Coming Soon
Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus will be receiving its first piece of DLC soon in the form of the Tanuki Kabuki DLC.
That's it for the Humble Games Showcase 2025, there's plenty to look forward to here, with most of the games shown due for release this year, we've already had a great year for games and we've only hit March, and that looks set to continue!
