After debuting back in 2024, the Triple-i Initiative is now a yearly fixture in our gaming calendar, offering world premieres and update trailers for some of the biggest indie games around, while having no filler in the form of ads or presenters. Today, April 9th, 2026, marked the 3rd annual showcase, so let's take a look at what was shown at the Triple-i Initiative 2026 Showcase.

The Developers of 1000xRESIST are Back with Psychological Horror: Prove You're Human

An AI dares to dream she is human. You've been hired to put her in her place. No release date yet for this psychological horror game, but it certainly looks unique. It's available to wishlist now on Steam.

A First Look at Gameplay for First Person ARPG Alkahest

Alkahest is an Action-Adventure RPG set in a murky medieval world. Where satisfying melee combat with highly interactive environments takes center stage. Explore realistic locations, learn alchemy, and make a name for your family.

Cute (and gory) Co-op Quota Horror Game Lost Railway Announced, Closed Playtest Sign-ups Open

A co-op 2D quota horror game with cute animals and terrifying monsters. Assemble a team of up to 4 players and venture into the depths of the nightmare for valuable loot, tools, and secrets because the train must always move forward!

For context, quota-horror games are those in the vein of games such as Lethal Company or R.E.P.O, where players must loot a dungeon for a certain amount of value and then escape alive.

Cairn is Getting a Free "On the Trail" DLC this Summer

Mountain-climbing simulator Cairn is getting some free DLC this Summer in the form of the On The Trail DLC, which adds new climbing spots to the game.

A Look at Some of the Gameplay and Story of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse - Coming 2026

Exploring deep space on the ESS Starseeker, players will need to work together with the entire crew of the space station to complete planet-wide objectives across a multitude of star systems using cutting-edge technology.

Barotrauma is Getting a "Home & Harbor" Expansion this Fall

The Home & Harbor Expansion will enable you to assume control of your very own deep-sea outpost – or conquer existing ones by force!

A new, mysterious faction will enter the scene. The technocratic, body-modified “Descendants” utilize alien technology and add a new layer of intrigue to the Barotrauma universe. With them, a range of new items, doodads, and curiosities will be added.

Home & Harbor will add more depth to Barotrauma’s faction system. Roaming submarines will directly contribute to the NPC outpost economy. NPC factions will also interact with each other, trade, gain or lose ground, outside of player actions.

Co-op Beat 'Em Up Roguelite Lost Castle 2 Leaves Early Access June 11th

"Lost Castle 2" is a 2D Beat'em up Rogue-Lite game. Explore abundant treasures and items to enhance yourself, master various weapons to showcase your skills, and challenge powerful monsters to demonstrate your strength. A new adventure is calling for treasure hunters!

The game will also support co-op if you want to play with a friend.

First-Person Soulslike Valor Mortis Gets Fall 2026 Release Window

Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike from the creators of Ghostrunner. Rise from death as a former soldier of Napoleon’s army. Wield supernatural powers, battle horrifying monsters, and unravel a conspiracy that threatens all of humanity.

Long Gone is a Point and Click Puzzle Survival Game, Releasing in 2027
