The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak was an impressive release last year on Steam, although only available in Japanese. While a fan-made translation exists, the full English version of the game launches in July on Steam! And to get in the zone, you can play the demo right now.

In this demo, players can enjoy the game's opening moments, with all progress carried over into the full release. In a change from previous titles in the Legend of Heroes franchise, Trails Through Daybreak features a real-time combat system instead of the turn-based formula. So, for those who prefer more active gameplay, Trails Through Daybreak should be more to your liking! I’m a fan of turn-based games personally, but I’m interested in how much this changes up the franchise.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak will be released on July 5th! While the game can be played without playing the others before it, it is recommended to play the past games to get the full experience of the series and not miss any of the call backs to other past characters and events.
