TEKKEN 8's Official Launch Trailer is Here. A Week Away From Launch!

TEKKEN 8's release has been slowly, but surely, arriving on our doorstep, and now it's knocking at the door! With the game releasing next Friday, Bandai Namco has taken the opportunity to release the game's official launch trailer, check it out!

I can't say I follow TEKKEN lore myself, so the idea that these fighters are representing their entire country, and if they lose, their country gets destroyed seems a little on the heavy side to me, but I guess it puts some high stakes tension into the competition!

TEKKEN 8 will feature all-new gameplay modes, remodeled characters, destructible environments, and a new battle system that promises to deliver constant fast-paced action.

TEKKEN 8 will also feature the "fight lounge" where you can fight against other players, as well as their "ghosts", AI that has been trained based upon their fighting styles. You can even customize your player avatar using the Fight Money you earn!

Are you ready to decide the fate of your country and the world when TEKKEN 8 lands on Steam on January 26th? You can pre-order now, and the game plays pretty well on the Steam Deck if the demo is anything to go by. It requires that you maintain a constant 60 FPS, but this was doable in the demo if you lower your graphics settings.
