Super Video Golf Gets SteamOS Support for Steam Deck

There's something special about golfing video games for me. I have very fond memories of playing Golf With Your Friends and Golf It with my wife, where we would make bets on who would win and choose what we had for dinner. Even the older golf games have a certain charm to them that makes me miss them, and luckily, Super Video Golf not only does that but will play even better on the Steam Deck.

Yesterday, there was a new update for Super Video Golf that I find myself smiling about more than other updates. To get the game in tip-top condition for the Steam Deck, developer Trederia has taken the immense step of porting the game to SteamOS/Linux! They mention that they had help getting this done, but even so, I find it amazing that they went this far.

But that's not all. This new update also added two new courses, new achievements, support for emojis in player's names, the ability to play courses at night, new selectable weather conditions, and improved text rendering. There was also a wealth of fixes, but it's clear that this is a massive update to a game that looks fantastic.
