SteamOS Preview Update 4/26/23 - Jedi Survivor Improvements

A new SteamOS Preview update was pushed out earlier today! It is a small one, but it features updates to the graphics driver to improve performance for the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor:

SteamOS Preview Update 4/26/23 Changelog:

• Updated the graphics driver with performance improvements for STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor

You can access the preview channel by going into the System settings on your Steam Deck and changing the updated channel to “Preview”.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be releasing in 2 days and while it will be using EA's DRM, which will require background use, these updates seem like it has been tested and is, at the very least, able to run on the Steam Deck. While these updates are nice to see, we can't say for certain how well the game will run on the Deck, so we are staying very cautiously optimistic about it.
