I am constantly playing tons of new games, but whenever I feel like I need a break, I go to some idle games. They can be pretty detailed, but the gameplay is generally quite simple. Some require only clicking on one specific spot, some have more in-depth upgrades, but I do love seeing the numbers go up and seeing myself progress over time. That's why I love the current Steam sale going on right now: Steam Idler Fest.

There are a ton of intriguing games on sale that all have some sort of idle mechanic to them, making them the perfect games for me to relax with. A lot of these games don't have controller support, so I have two sub-categories for our recommendations to split them, but all of the games are playable on the Steam Deck. The non-controller support ones mean using the trackpad more, but it shouldn't be too bad.
Steam Idle Fest Recommendations for Steam Deck
Controller Support
Garden In! - $4.99 (50% Off)

Settlemoon - $7.49 (50% Off)

Swords and Souls: Neverseen - $5.99 (60% Off)

The Longing - $9.99 (23% Off)

No Controller Support (But Still Playable)
Cookie Clicker - $1.69 (66% Off)

Doom Sweeper - $3.99 (20% Off)

Dragon Cliff - $1.99 (80% Off)

Journey to Incrementalia - $3.49 (30% Off)

Learning Factory - $11.99 (20% Off)

Loot Box Quest - $0.49 (51% Off)

Melvor Idle - $4.99 (50% Off)

Palladise Island - $0.49 (51% Off)

PC Tycoon 2 - $3.19 (60% Off)

Plantera 2: Golden Acorn - $2.49 (50% Off)

Tower Walker: MMO Grind Simulator - $4.99 (50% Off)

And that's all for our recommendations for the Steam Idler Sale. I recommend checking out the rest of the sale to see if there's anything else worthwhile, but these are some of the ones that stood out to me.
