Six Days in Fallujah is one of the few first-person tactical shooters that seems to run exceptionally well on the Steam Deck. You may need low settings, but using FSR 2, it can hit high framerates and an almost stable 60 FPS. Most games like this can't achieve that, and it deserves to be highlighted for it. Unfortunately, some users were experiencing crashes from the game if you were playing on a Deck, but with the latest update, we won't need to worry much longer!

In a quick hotfix that was published yesterday, a couple of changes were pushed out. There was one seeing smoke grenade duration reduced, "Last Selection" aim preference is now functioning properly, and the issue that caused players to crash while playing on the Steam Deck should no longer be an issue.

While the update is small, I do love seeing care being given to playing these games on the Steam Deck. There also aren't many realistic first-person shooters that run particularly well on limited hardware, so I am glad to see support is being considered within updates. The game looks amazing as well, so I think I need to get off my ass and go buy it!

You can view the hotfix changelog on the Steam Community Post they made.

Six Days in Fallujah is available on Steam for $39.99, but you can get it on other official 3rd party stores for less:

It is currently rated Steam Deck Playable due to small in-game text and needing to change graphical settings for good performance.
