Realistic Shipping Simulator 'Ships At Sea' Launches into Early Access May 9th!

We've had truck simulators, we've had train simulators, but now we're finally getting a ship simulator! Ships At Sea is developed by Misc Games, and they will be releasing it into early access on Steam on May 9th, 2024!

Ships At Sea will let players embark on a career in cargo, service, or commercial fishing as they work to upgrade their ship and become the best in the fleet! You can even sail together with your friends in the 4-player co-op mode!

Take control of a ship in the Norwegian Sea and carve your career path by outfitting your ship with the equipment necessary to get the job done! Fancy a change of pace? You can change your career path at any point!

Using Nvidia's WaveWorks water shader, and Unreal Engine 5, the developers at Misc Games are aiming to provide the ultimate shipping experience, with realistic water physics and immersive visuals to keep you captivated. Prepare to meet dynamic weather and beautiful vistas as you explore the world of Ships At Sea.

Make sure you keep your ship upgraded with the latest equipment and tools, as well as kit yourself out with some new clothes. You'll need to keep your ship maintained too, it is a harsh world out there after all!

Ships At Sea will launch into Early Access on Steam on May 9th. You can wishlist the game to be notified when it launches.

The game does have partial controller support, but it's hard to say if the game will run on Steam Deck or not. It depends on the scalability of those graphics, as the water does look beyond what something like the Steam Deck can usually handle.
