Management Roguelike ShapeHero Factory Working on Steam Deck Support

I am all for weird roguelike games, so I am shocked I hadn't heard about ShapeHero Factory until earlier today. It's a roguelike that fuses elements of factory simulation and tower defense to mass produce different heroes in a factory to fight for you. They describe it as a wave-based tower defense game, and I love the focus on manufacturing heroes. It also sounds like we will be able to play on the Steam Deck more comfortably quite soon!

Two days ago, developer Asobism.Co.,Ltd posted a new update that focuses on bug fixes and some minor adjustments here and there. It didn't directly include anything Steam Deck related, but they did update us on what the team is currently working on. In that section, they say they are working on supporting controllers and the Steam Deck specifically.

This looks like a wonderful game to play on the go, so I am really hopeful the update will come sooner rather than later. With proper controller support, this could be a must-have title on the go, and I can see myself getting lost in it. There's no timeframe on when the support will be implemented, but I hope it makes an appearance soon.

ShapeHero Factory is available on Steam now for $18.99 during early access. Based on their minimum system requirements, it should be very playable on the Steam Deck already, and we just need that controller support!
