Pacific Drive Sells 1 Million Copies in its First Year, Big Update Due Soon

Ironwood Studios has proudly announced that the narrative-driving experience 'Pacific Drive' has successfully hit 1 million copies sold after just under 1 year on the market, with the game releasing in February 2024.

Since then, Pacific Drive has received 3 major updates, a TV show is in the works based on the game, and it has been nominated for numerous awards, including several BAFTA awards, Game Developers Choice Awards, and winning Best Gameplay at the BIG Festival Awards at Gamescom LATAM and Best Music at The Indie Game Awards 2024.

That's not all, as Ironwood Studios has also said that a fourth major update to the game is coming soon, and it'll be the game's biggest update since its launch. And like the others so far, will be free for all players.

You can go ahead and grab Pacific Drive on Steam. Sadly, the game doesn't have the best performance on the Steam Deck, and the game does frequently drop below 30 FPS at points.
