Moros Protocol has just been announced by Super Rare Originals and developer Pixel Reign, and it is scheduled to launch later this year.

A sci-fi FPS game inspired by the old shooters, Moros Protocol pits players against deadly monsters on a devastated capital battleship en route to a warzone. In true sci-fi horror style, it's up to the player to find out the truth. It can be played solo or with a friend, and I like the look of its gorgeous rendering.

It reminds me a lot of Prodeus in that same retro design, but with modern graphics, and with all the augment upgrades for roguelike progression and fantasy vibes, it could be a great addition to the shooter franchise.
