Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase Reveals all About the First Major Upate, Coming April 4th

As we reported yesterday, a Monster Hunter Wilds showcase just aired, which details the upcoming first major update to the game, Title Update 1, which will be coming as a free update on April 4th.

For a short text summary of the update, here's what it'll include:

• The arrival of the leviathan Mizutsune in the Forbidden Lands
• New Challenges, such as Arch-tempered Rey Dau and hunting Zoh Shia for additional parts. Plus Arena Quests, Challenge Quests, and Free Challenge Quests with special rewards.
• A new gathering area, the Grand Hub, featuring minigames to earn prizes.
• First Festival seasonal event, the Blossomdance, running April 22nd - May 6th in the Grand Hub.
• Free Classic Gestures are being added as DLC, as well as glasses for Alma

The second free Title Update is due in the Summer, with the promise of a catalogue being added which tracks all the critters you've caught.

Monster Hunter Wilds may not run well on the Steam Deck, but it's still been a very well-received title, and you can stream it to your Steam Deck from your PC or using a service like GeForce Now.
