Believe me, I wanted to fit more genres into that title, but that would have been too long!

Dicefolk aims to bring a fresh take on tactical gameplay as it combines the thrill of monster-catching with the tense atmosphere brought about by the Roguelike genre. You might think with the game using dice that there would be a great deal of luck involved, but fear not! In Dicefolk, you can customize your dice with faces of your choice, influencing the outcome.

Does it sound a little confusing? Well check out the trailer to see the game in action:

Make any more sense now? If not, there's a demo available right now over on Steam! I'm sure it all makes perfect sense once you get into the game.

In Dicefolk, you play as a Chimera Summoner, there are over 100 Chimeras and items to collect in the game, so find a team that suits your strategy well and go on an adventure!

Each run you do, you'll encounter new enemies, and have to develop new strategies to defeat them. Have the right Chimeras in your party, upgrade them, and customize your dice to make sure that you're ready for anything that comes at you.

Dicefolk will launch on Steam on February 27th for $14.99. A demo is available right now. Dicefolk will have full controller support and very modest system requirements, so it should run well on the Steam Deck.
