Alien Horror FPS 'Level Zero: Extraction' Closed Beta Starting March 15th, Launches 2024

Level Zero: Extraction is a first-person, multiplayer extraction shooter featuring unique asymmetric gameplay.

In Level Zero: Extraction, 3 Teams of up to 3 scavengers will enter the expedition area, while 2 players will take on the role of alien monsters, whose job is to ensure that none of the scavengers make it out alive. Which side will you play in this PvPvE battle?

Level Zero: Extraction aims to present a first-person horror experience, with realistic gunplay and melee mechanics. Use a vast array of weapons, ranging from Shotguns to Machetes, Assault Rifles to Flamethrowers. When playing as the Aliens, use your alien abilities to shut down human equipment, detect their location from their heartbeats, and more!

It wouldn't be horror if it was easy to fight back, right? While the human scavenger teams can take each other out with their conventional weapons, the aliens are only vulnerable to light and light sources, meaning humans will have to strategically use light to defend themselves from the alien threat.

The progression system will allow players to unlock dozens of new perks and items, as well as attachments to upgrade their weapons.

Level Zero: Extraction launches on Steam later in 2024, a closed beta test will begin on March 15th, which you can request access to on their Steam page.

The game is online-only, so it goes without saying that you need an internet connection to play, and we have no word on Steam Deck or even controller compatibility as of yet. So this will be one to keep an eye on.
