JSAUX Unveils Portable Controller And Switch Pro Controller Extender

Not too long ago, JSAUX announced that they are moving into the controller industry. Their new Voidjoy lineup was announced to focus on controllers for handheld, traditional controllers, and controller accessories. Today, we finally get our first look at these, starting with the SkyLark S1 Pro Portable Controller and Elite Extender for the Switch Pro Controller, and they are available for pre-order right now.

SkyLark S1 Pro Portable Controller - $49.99

The SkyLark S1 is probably the one I’m most interested in of the announced products. It’s a controller designed to be portable, being extremely small and easy to take around. Based on its size, it sounds like it’d be the perfect controller to take on the go with handhelds. It’s also chock full of features, with TMR joysticks, analog triggers, 5 connection modes, macro recording, and Turbo inputs. It even looks like it has little ergonomic grips on the back, which was one of my big worries, thinking about a tiny controller.

Elite Extender for Switch Pro Controller - $39.99

Then, there’s the Elite Extender, which is a really interesting product. It attaches to your Switch 1 Pro controller and enhances it with extra back buttons, top buttons, macro recording, turbo, pressure-sensitive analog triggers, and even an extra battery backup. I didn’t expect to see fall on triggers attached, but I think it’s such a cool idea that they did. This is definitely the more interesting product of the two, since I never expected anything like this.

Both of these products are available for pre-order right now, and will ship later this month. I will be getting these as well and going hands-on to see how it is using them and how it feels with the Steam Deck.
