Rabbit & Bear Studios project, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, is nearing its release, and to build anticipation for the launch, they've released a nearly 5-minute pre-launch trailer, showcasing some of the characters you'll meet on your adventure, as well as the world the game takes place in. You can even see the voice actors for each of the characters, see if you can spot any familiar names!

The game uses 2D Sprites for its characters, blended with a 3D Background and environment, a style that's becoming quite common for this type of game, but it works well, and I enjoy the clarity that Eiyuden Chronicle seems to preserve using this style.

It features a six-character battle system, allowing you to use a variety of moves and tactics in order to defeat your enemies and progress on your journey! And in case the name wasn't enough of a giveaway, the game does feature over 100 playable characters that can be in your party!

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be available on Steam from April 23rd. It will feature partial controller support and has quite low system requirements, so at a surface glance, it should run well on the Steam Deck.
