Dystopika Gets Patch With Improved On-Screen Keyboard Support For Steam Deck

I love city-builders and games that have sci-fi settings, which makes Dystopika seem like the perfect game for me. There are no goals or management involved, just pure creativity and all the time in the world to create the Cyberpunk city you want to. It looks truly haunting in all the right ways, and it just got a new patch to make it better to play on the Steam Deck.

The new update includes one specific change for the Steam Deck. The on-screen keyboard handling has been improved, making it easier to use. This could mean either a keyboard that is built into the game or the virtual keyboard from Steam directly, but either way, it's an improvement to an aspect using the Deck, and I couldn't be happier.

The update also fixes the Unity engine vulnerability that has been affecting any game using the engine, better mod support for custom air traffic, soundtracks, and fonts, an overhauled ModKit Wizard, and some minor changes like sound effects for rain and heavy rain weather, the monorail prop getting a small visual enhancement, and volumetric lighting on blimps getting adjusted.
