Ever since Dead by Daylight, asymmetrical multiplayer games have been coming out in which you and your friends need to work together to survive against one very powerful individual hunting you down. Dragon Ball: The Breakers is one such game in which you are a normal person working with six others to escape an overpowered villain from the franchise. Before, you were unable to play on the Steam Deck due to an anti-cheat issue, but now, the game can be played on the Steam Deck with ease!

It seems as though the latest update has enabled the anti-cheat to work on Linux devices, which includes the Steam Deck. It's most likely an update that came with the new season, which happened around 2 weeks ago, but there's no changelog that came with the Season 5 update. Regardless, I bought the game and can confirm that it is working like a charm!

You do need to change some settings for it to run well, though. Make sure the Rendering Resolution is set to 1280x720 and change the overall graphics quality to Medium, and you will get a nearly solid 60 FPS with some higher battery drain. I would say you can go down a bit, but since this is a multiplayer game, you may want to sacrifice battery for the framerate, so you aren't at any disadvantage.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is on sale now for 50% off at $9.99, but you can get it for a little cheaper on Fanatical for $8.79. It is rated Steam Deck Unsupported, but this rating is now inaccurate as the game is working! Now, we just need the same treatment for FighterZ and Xenoverse 2.
