Denuvo DRM is one of the more controversial pieces of "anti-piracy" software out there right now. Whether it's due to reports of diminished game performance, installation limits, or just losing a little bit more control over a piece of software you purchased and "own".
Regardless of that, the good news here is that both DOOM: The Dark Ages and Digimon Story Time Stranger have dropped their use of Denuvo DRM, meaning you'll be able to avoid any potential issues that can arise from its use. This could also lead to some improved performance on the Steam Deck, since the extra resources Denuvo takes up will now be freed.

Both of these games are verified on Steam Deck and hold a "Very Positive" rating by the Steam community, and can be a great time on the go. I enjoyed my time with Digimon Story Time Stranger when I played it.
It's a common theme that games drop off using Denuvo a year or so after release, and GamingOnLinux hypothesizes that this is likely because the cost of keeping Denuvo installed (apparently it costs per game activation as well as a monthly fee) outweighs the potential monetary loss of the game being pirated.
