Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, a new entry in the fighting series from SEGA will drop on August 5th, 2025. If you pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition, you'll also be able to play the game up to 5 days earlier and enjoy some other rewards too.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will follow Tanjiro Kamado as he battles against demons in the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc of the Demon Slayer anime.

Pre-orders are available now, and pre-ordering the standard edition of the game (priced at $59.99) will net you the following:

  • Base game
  • 2 Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Keys – Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui
  • Pre-order bonus: 2 Character Unlock Keys** – Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji

Those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition (priced at $69.99) will get the following:

  • Base game
  • 2 Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Keys – Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui
  • 4 Character Unlock Keys – Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima

  • Bonuses for The Hinokami Chronicles save data:
    • 6 Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Keys – Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Shinobu Kocho, and Giyu Tomioka
  • Bonuses for Sweep the Board! save data:

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will be available on Steam from August 5th, 2025. Pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe edition allows you to play the game up to 5 days early.

The game does have controller support and the system requirements are very low, so it should run fine on the Steam Deck.
